If the Ground Topper doesn't grab the opening of this box as snug as you would like there is a simple field adjustment that can be made to the product to make the fit more secure. Please wear proper protection and follow all safety precautions necessary while making these adjustments.
On each of the three fins on the bottom of the Ground Topper, make a cut in between the second and third ridges from the bottom of approximately one and a half inches. Be careful not to cut all of the way back to the vertical score that the fins are attached to. This will allow for the bottom of each fin to spring out slightly further and should catch the lip of the box.
GroundTopper Too! Universal 10 Valve Box Lid:
For proper fit, before installation flex attachment tabs out and down toward bottom of lid. Upon installation obstructed tabs should be bent in toward the center of lid, or removed.
In order to secure lid in place, knock out bolt hole and secure to box with bolt.
